Overview
The TR 5501/950 single-sided wet film is a tool for measurement of Coating wet film thickness, also known as wet film thickness gauge or wet-film thickness caliper. It is widely used in the fields of Coating construction, quality control and Coating Film thickness measurement to help monitor the construction mass and conformity of the Coating to ensure that the Coating Film thickness meets the expected requirements. The product has a thickness measurement range of 500~ 950μm and a Graduation of 50μm.
Features
1. Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel to ensure durability
2. Single-sided design, simple and practical structure
3. Thickness measurement range 500~ 950μm, Graduation 50μm, moderate accuracy
4. The teeth are arranged at the edge for quick measurement
Principle
The wet-film thickness gauge is a plate made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel material with a series of teeth arranged around its edge. The reference teeth at the corners of the plate form a Baseline, and a progressive series of gaps are formed between the inner teeth arranged along the Baseline and the reference teeth. Each inner tooth is marked with a given gap depth value. To use, place the measurement head lightly on the wet Coating surface, ensuring that the Coating is in full contact with the line side of the measurement head scale, and then read the scale line position on the dial in contact with the Coating to obtain the film thickness value of the wet Coating.
Standards
GB/T 13452、ASTM D4414、ISO2808
Steps
1. Place the measurement head gently on the wet Coating surface
2. Ensure that the Coating fully contacts the scale line side of the measurement head
3. Read the scale line position on the dial in contact with the Coating
4. Film thickness value of wet Coating
Notice
• When using, make sure that the Coating is in full contact with the scale line side of the measurement head
• Gently place the measurement head to avoid damage to the Coating surface
• Pay attention to accurately align the contact points when reading the scale
• Keep tools clean to prevent corrosion or contamination
