Principle

The wet-film thickness gauge is a flat plate made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel material with a series of teeth arranged around its edge. The reference teeth at the corners of the plate form a Baseline, and the inner teeth arranged along the Baseline form a progressive series of gaps between the reference teeth. Each inner tooth is marked with a given gap depth value. To use, place the measurement head lightly on the wet Coating surface, ensuring that the Coating is in full contact with the line side of the measurement head scale, and then read the scale line position on the dial in contact with the Coating to obtain the film thickness value of the wet Coating.
