Overview
The TRUIT TR 5508/300 wet-film thickness wheel is a tool for measuring wet Coating Film thickness. It is made of stainless steel, has a wheel-like structure, and has a dial or scale line. The wet film thickness value is determined by comparing the scale on the dial with the amount of Coating adsorption. The product has a range of 0~ 300μm and Graduation 15μm. It is suitable for scenarios such as Coating construction, surface coating and Coating Film thickness monitoring. It can quickly and accurately evaluate the wet Coating Film thickness to ensure construction mass and conformity.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, durable and reliable
2. Wheel structure design, easy to operate
3. Measurement range 0~ 300μm, Graduation 15μm, Measurement range
4. Quickly determine wet film thickness by scale comparison
5. Suitable for a variety of wet Coating application scenarios
Principle
The Wet Film Wheel consists of a wheel, the inner circle and the two outer wheels form a centrifugal ring, and the three wheels are at the same point at the zero position. During measurement, place the gap position with the largest difference between the inner and outer rims on the coating surface, keep the inner and outer wheels in the same line and roll along the zero position in contact with the surface, check the position where the inner rim begins to contact the Coating, and the wet film thickness can be expressed from the scale reading marked on the outer rim.
Applications
Coating Construction, Surface Coating, Coating Film thickness monitoring
Standards
GB/T 13452、ASTM D1212、ASTM D4414、ISO 2808
Steps
1. Place the measurement wheel with the largest gap between the inner and outer rims on the coating surface
2. Keep the inner and outer wheels in line and in contact with the surface
3. Roll the measurement wheel along the zero position
4. Check the position where the inner rim starts to contact the Coating
5. Read the wet film thickness value expressed on the scale on the outer wheel
Notice
Make sure the measurement wheel is clean and pollution-free before use
• Keep the inner and outer wheels in full contact with the surface during measurement
• Avoid tilting or lifting the measurement wheel during rolling
• When reading the scale, it should be carried out in an environment with sufficient rays of light
• Clean the measurement wheel in time after use and keep it properly
