Overview
RFND-50M Online Viscometer is a ship-specific online micro-vibration Viscometer under the Ruifeng brand, with a range of 0-50~ 100mpa.s. It is specially designed for marine environments or devices with limited installation space, and is suitable for online continuous measurement of fluids with viscosity in the range of 0~ 3000mpa.s.

Principle
The in-line Viscometer works on the principle of micro-vibration. The Sensor Probe emits tiny vibrations, which are damped by the viscosity of the fluid when immersed in the fluid under test. The real-time viscosity value of the fluid can be calculated by precise measurement of this damping effect or changes in vibration frequency. At the same time, the Sensor integrates temperature measurement functions to provide temperature compensation or independent temperature signals for viscosity measurement.

Steps
1. According to the process requirements, choose the appropriate connection method (flange DN40 PN4.0, thread M42 * 1.5 or quick chuck) to install the Viscometer Sensor into the pipe or container.
2. Connect the power supply and signal line according to the instructions of the instrument terminal: 24V DC power positive cathode, viscosity 4-20mA output line, temperature 4-20mA output line and 485 communication line (if used).
3. Connect the 24V DC power supply and power on the meter.
4. Through the display head or communication interface, set or select the viscosity unit as needed.
5. When the fluid flows through the Sensor, the instrument will automatically start continuous measurement and output viscosity and temperature signals.
Notice
* Please ensure that the Sensor is installed in the correct orientation and fully immersed in the measured fluid for accurate measurement.
* Sensor Operating Pressure must be lower than 25MPa, medium temperature must be lower than 500 ℃.
When wiring, please strictly distinguish the polarity of the power supply and the signal line to avoid damage to the equipment due to wrong connection.
When installing and using in explosion-proof areas, it is necessary to strictly abide by relevant explosion-proof safety regulations.
* Regularly check the Sensor surface for scaling or abrasion, and clean if necessary to maintain measurement accuracy.
Calibration of the instrument requires the use of standard sample solution.
