Principle
The DGC DHT-300C Portable Leeb hardness tester works based on the principle of Leeb hardness testing. The instrument applies a specified energy Impact to the surface of the tested material through the Impact device (Type C), and measures the ratio of the rebound speed of the Impact body to the Impact speed at a distance of 1mm from the surface of the sample. The ratio is called the Leeb Hardness value. The internal processor of the instrument converts this value into a variety of common Hardness standards (such as HRC, HRB, HB, HV, etc.) and displays it on the LCD screen.
Applications
Metal hardness of materials testing, machinery manufacturing, heat treatment quality control, aerospace, automotive industry, power equipment, Pressure Vessel, mold manufacturing, scientific research and education
Standards

Steps
1. Boot preparation: Press the switch/menu/confirm button to turn it on and check the battery power.
2. Parameter setting: Use the select/shift/delete key and select/set/display conversion key to set the appropriate material, Hardness standard, measurement direction and other parameters.
3. Start measurement: Press the Impact device vertically on the surface of the tested material, press the Impact device release button for measurement, and the screen displays the Measured value.
4. Data View: Use the buttons to view the current Measured value, Average, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and stored data.
5. Data transmission (optional): Use the transmission cable to connect the hardness gauge to the computer, run the corresponding software, and select the printing method in the hardness gauge menu to complete the data transmission.
6. Shut down: After the measurement is completed, you can wait for the instrument to shut down automatically or long press the switch button to shut down.
Notice
* Before measurement, please set the instrument parameters (such as material code, Impact direction) correctly according to the material being tested.
* Ensure that the Impact device is perpendicular to the measured surface and pressed tightly for accurate measurement results.
* The instrument should be avoided in a strong magnetic field, strong corrosion gas and violent vibration environment.
* Operating temperature is -20 ℃~ 40 ℃, storage temperature is -30 ℃~ + 50 ℃, do not use or store in an environment beyond the range.
* Please use the matching charger or computer USB port to charge the built-in lithium battery.
When the instrument is not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge it regularly to maintain battery activity.
* Avoid severe impact or drop of the Impact Device.
For the curved sample, the radius of curvature must meet the requirements of the Impact device.
* Periodically calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
