Overview
PUSHEN double-channel Grindometer model ISO-50um is a fineness detection tool with two grooves. The surface is marked with three scale units of micron, Hegman and Mill, and the side is engraved with the brand name and product number. The product is equipped with drawdown blade, black hard plastic toolbox Encasement, internal Fineness Gauge surface is coated with anti-rust oil and parcelled with Plastic film. Fineness Gauge front asperity is 0.1, drawdown blade asperity is 0.05, stainless steel material (40Cr13 forging), good wear resistance, measuring range is 0~ 50 microns, used to detect the fineness of particles such as Coatings, inks, pigments, etc.
Features
1. Double-channel design, equipped with two grooves to improve detection efficiency.
2. The surface is marked with three scale units: micron, Hegman and mil, which is convenient for multi-unit reading.
3. Made of stainless steel (40Cr13 forging), it has excellent wear resistance.
4. Encasement is meticulous, including black hard plastic toolbox, anti-rust oil and Plastic film protection.
5. High Accuracy Design, accuracy of +/- 1.5 microns, Graduation of 5 microns.
6. Hardness, HRC50 +/- 2 to ensure long-term Stability.
Principle
Based on the principle of fineness detection, double-channel Fineness Gauge grinds materials such as pigments into finer particles and disperses them in fluid equipment. The fineness depends not only on the actual size of the individual particles, but also on their degree of dispersion. By using the inks Grindometer, the fineness of materials such as paints can be quickly determined.
Applications
Paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, chocolate, ceramics, paper, food
Standards
GB/T 6753.1-2007
Steps
1. Read the PUSHEN Grindometer instruction manual.pdf for detailed instructions.
2. Prepare the sample to ensure that the material is evenly dispersed.
3. Place the sample in the Fineness Gauge groove.
4. Use the equipped drawdown blade to flatten the sample along the groove.
5. Read the surface scale and record the fineness value.
Notice
• Be sure to read the operation manual before operation to ensure correct use.
• Keep Fineness Gauge and drawdown blade clean to avoid contamination affecting accuracy.
• Pay attention to rust prevention during storage and check the surface condition regularly.
• Avoid use in extreme environments to prevent material damage.
