Overview
The NIRUN NDJ-5S digital Viscometer is an experimental instrument for the measurement of viscosity of liquid or semi-solid substances. It uses a swirl/spin cylindrical rotor in the object to be measured to measure viscosity according to the resistance between the rotor and the substance. It is widely used in chemical, food and other industries to determine the flowability of substances, quality control and viscosity changes during product development.

Principle
The rotational viscometer swirls/spins a cylindrical rotor or disc in the object to be measured to measure viscosity based on the resistance between the rotor and the liquid or semi-solid. The rotational speed of the rotor and the applied force have an impact on the viscosity measurement results.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate rotor specification (1 #, 2 #, 3 #, 4 #or 0 #optional)
2. Set Rotor speed (6/12/30/60rpm)
3. Connect RTD temperature probe for temperature measurement
4. Start the measurement and observe the viscosity change on the LCD screen
5. If the Measurement range is exceeded, the device will issue an alarm sound
6. Connect computer via RS232 interface for data collection and processing

• Power supply voltage within AC 100-240V range before use
• Select the appropriate rotor size and speed to ensure Measurement accuracy
Measurement range beyond the device will sound alarm, please adjust the measurement parameters in time
Periodic equipment calibration to ensure measurement accuracy
