Principle
The Halogen moisture meter works based on heating the sample and measuring the weight loss of moisture in the sample. It uses a halogen lamp or halogen heating tube as a heating element to transfer thermal energy to the sample, and as the sample is heated, the water in it gradually evaporates. The instrument determines the moisture content by continuously monitoring the weight change of the sample. The higher the moisture content, the greater the weight loss of the sample.
