Overview
LEEB spark detector (model leeb720) is a digital display, intuitive and convenient detection instrument. It adopts an integrated high voltage generator to overcome static electricity, stable and reliable performance, widely used in the industry, with sound and light alarm function, especially suitable for field operations.
Features
1. Digital display, intuitive and convenient.
2. Adopt integrated high voltage generator to overcome static electricity.
3. Stable and reliable performance, widely used in the industry.
4. Sound and light alarm function.
5. Especially suitable for field operations.
6. Powered by nickel-metal hydride battery, it has the advantages of high capacity, long life, light weight, no pollution, no Memory effecy, and fast charging and discharging.
Principle
The spark detector applies a pulsed high voltage to the surface of the anti-corrosion layer of the guide electrical substrate. When there are defects such as pinholing and pinhole in the anti-corrosion layer, the pulsed high voltage forms an air gap breakdown to generate spark discharge, and at the same time sends a pulse signal to the alarm circuit to trigger an acousto-optic alarm, thereby detecting the mass of the anti-corrosion layer.
Applications
Chemical, petroleum, rubber, enamel
Steps
1. Read the manual before use and operate according to the specifications.
2. Select the appropriate ground point for testing: small objects are supported by insulators for more than 20cm and grounded; large or flat objects are directly grounded when they are in good contact with the earth.
3. The inspectors wear high voltage insulating gloves to avoid contact with the probe and the tested object.
4. Keep the surface of the anti-corrosion layer drying.
5. Turn off the power switch when not in use.
6. Charge in time when the undervoltage indicator light is on.
Notice
• Read the instructions carefully before use, operate strictly according to the specifications, prevent falling, touching and high temperature, and do not place near humid and corrosive gases.
• Select the appropriate ground during testing to ensure mass.
• Testing personnel must wear high voltage insulating gloves, and no one should contact the probe and the tested object to prevent electric shock.
• The surface of the tested anti-corrosion layer should be kept drying to avoid the conductive layer or water affecting the positioning.
• When the instrument is not in use, the power switch must be in the "off" position.
• When the under-voltage indicator light is on, be sure to charge it in time.
