Overview
Webster Hardness Tester (Model W-B75b) is a portable instrument used to quickly test brass Hardness in the production site. It can directly read the Hardness value, easy to operate, high efficiency and good Reliability. Its range is 0~ 20HW, suitable for brass materials, Hardness range 63~ 105HRF, workpiece size Film thickness 0.4-8 mm, inner diameter > 6mm.
Features
1. Wechsler Hardness Detection, Measurement; 2. Through anodic oxidation treatment, wear resistance and no rust, feel comfortable; 3. Detection of a variety of metals, Hardness detection has a wide range of applications; 4. Mechanical design, compression spring device, not easy to damage; 5. High toughness table window glass, Impact is not easy to destroy; 6. Clear scale, accurate measurement; 7. Simple to use, handheld design, easy to carry; 8. Conversion is convenient, Hardness values such as Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, and Wechsler can be obtained through the conversion table.
Principle
Webster Hardness Tester uses a mechanical design to apply pressure on the workpiece through a compression spring device to form a Crowd and directly read the Hardness value for fast non-Destructiveness detection.
Applications
Hardness testing of brass profiles, tubes, plates, brass parts and Miscellaneous softer metals.
Standards
American Institute of Materials Standard ASTM B647-10, Nonferrous Metals Industry Standard YS/T420-2000, National Measurement verification code JJG944-1999, National Measurement verification code JJG944-2013
Steps
1. Card the hardness gauge on the workpiece; 2. Read the Hardness value directly; 3. If you need to convert, use the conversion table to obtain the Miscellaneous Hardness value.
Notice
* Ensure that the size of the workpiece meets the requirements (Film thickness 0.4-8 mm, inner diameter > 6mm); * Check the integrity of the instrument before use; * Avoid using on materials beyond the Hardness range; * Regularly calibrate to ensure Measurement accuracy; * Handle with care to prevent Impact damage to the window glass.
