Overview
W-BB75 Webster Hardness Tester is a handheld mechanical hardness testing instrument for rapid on-site hardness testing of copper materials. The instrument is easy to operate, can be read with one card, high efficiency and good reliability. It is suitable for copper workpieces with film thickness of 0.4-6 mm and inner diameter greater than 10mm.
Features
1. Wechsler hardness, easy to detect, Measurement.
2. Through anodic oxidation treatment, wear-resistant and rust-free, comfortable feel.
3. Detect a variety of metals, hardness testing has a wide range of applications.
4. Mechanical design, compression spring device, not easy to damage.
5. High toughness surface window glass, Impact is not easy to damage.
6. Clear scale and accurate measurement.
7. Simple to use, Handheld design, easy to carry.
8. Conversion is convenient. Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, Wechsler and other hardness values can be obtained through the conversion table.
Principle
Webster Hardness Tester uses a mechanical compression spring device to form Cedar by pressing the needle into the surface of the material to be tested. According to the corresponding relationship between the depth of Cedar and the hardness value, the Wechsler hardness value is directly read on the dial, so as to achieve fast and non-destructive hardness testing.
Applications
Red copper materials, aluminum alloy profiles, pipes, plates, aluminum parts and Miscellaneous softer metal hardness testing. Especially suitable for the production site, sales site or construction site of batches of Aluminum profiles and doors, windows and curtain walls for rapid, non-destructive piece by piece qualified inspection.
Standards
American Institute of Materials Standard ASTM B647-10 "Standard Test Method for Testing Aluminum Alloy Cellular Hardness Using Webster Hardness Tester", Nonferrous Metals Industry Standard YS/T420-2000 "Wechsler Hardness Test Method for Aluminum Alloys", National Measurement verification code JJG944-1999 "Metal Webster Hardness Tester (Trial) ", National Measurement verification code JJG944-2013 "Metal Webster Hardness Tester"
Steps
1. Place the workpiece to be tested at the hardness gauge measurement port.
2. Holding the instrument, align the crimp with the point to be tested.
3. Apply pressure to press the stylus into the surface of the material.
4. Read the Wechsler hardness value directly from the dial.
Notice
This model (W-BB75) is designed for testing copper materials.
* The size of the workpiece to be tested must meet the requirements of Film thickness 0.4-6 mm and inner diameter greater than 10mm.
* Please make sure that the pressure needle and the measured surface are clean before measurement.
Keep it safe after use to avoid severe impact.
* Regularly calibrate with standard hardness blocks to ensure measurement accuracy.
