Overview
The Defelsko CHBLADE6X1 is a blade for cross-cut Adhesion Testers designed for ISO 2409. Principle
The blade is the core cutting component of the cross-cut Adhesion Tester. During the test, the blade is driven by the tester to cut a crossed lattice pattern on the coating surface at a specified spacing (1mm). The adhesion performance between the coating and the substrate is judged by evaluating the peeling of the coating mesh after cutting.

Steps
1. Install the CHBLADE6X1 blade correctly into the cutting head of the cross-cut Adhesion Tester.
Make sure that the tester has set the cutting parameters (e.g. spacing, pressure) according to ISO 2409 standards.
3. The tester is perpendicular to the coating surface, applying uniform pressure to cut to form a cross grid pattern.
4. Use a brush or tape to clean the cut area.
5. Evaluate the coating adhesion grade according to the standard control chart.
6. When the cutting edge of the blade becomes dull, swirl/spin or replace it with a new blade to maintain the cutting mass.
Notice
This blade is designed for cross-cut testing in accordance with ISO 2409 standards and should not be used for testing under Miscellaneous standards such as ASTM D3359, which requires 11-tooth blades.
* The blade is made of hardened steel, sharp and hard, be careful when operating and replacing to avoid scratches.
* To ensure the accuracy and conformity of the test results, check the blade edge regularly and replace it in time if it becomes dull or damaged.
