Principle
The DC-2000C nondestructive thickness gauge works based on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. Probe emits ultrasonic pulses to the material under test through a coupling agent, and the pulses reflect on the surface and bottom of the material. Probe receives the echoes reflected in the bottom surface. The instrument accurately measures the round-trip propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the material, and calculates the material thickness through the built-in algorithm, which is finally displayed in digital form on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Insert Probe, press the button to turn it on, and enter the measurement interface after the instrument self-test.
2. If the Probe is not inserted after booting, the screen prompts "Please insert the Probe", and inserting the Probe will automatically enter the measurement state.
3. After entering the measurement state, the screen displays the current thickness value (such as 0.0mm), Speed of sound, Probe model and Measurement mode.
4. In the measurement state, press the corresponding button to turn on or off the backlight function.
Notice
* Please make sure that the Probe is inserted when booting, otherwise the instrument will prompt "Please insert Probe".
* Using the backlight function will significantly increase the power consumption of the instrument, please pay attention to the battery level indicator.
