A personal noise dosimeter is a test device used to evaluate the noise level of the working environment. It provides information on the noise of the working environment by measuring the accumulation of noise exposure. Using the test data, the company can ensure that the noise control measures comply with the regulations or take noise reduction measures to avoid hearing damage to employees. This dosimeter complies with GB/T 15952 standard.
1. Simultaneous measurement of frequency weighted noise exposure and peak sound level. 2. Easy to operate, the results can be read directly. 3. Built-in eight standard dose measurement settings: OSHA80, OSHA90, MSHA-80, MSHA-90, DOD, ACGIH, ISO85 and ISO90. 4. Nine user-defined measurement settings are available. 5. 50 dose (data) results can be stored. 6. Support downloading settings from PC. 7. Keyboard lock function to prevent accidental operation. 8. Integrated timer, supports pre-selected measurement time and duration. 9. Output through USB data cable to communicate with PC. 10. Single Sound Level Meter (SLM) setup with two overlapping Measurement ranges: 60 - 130 dB and 70 - 140 dB, A and C RMS weights, linear and C peak weights, fast and slow time weights, and energy exchange rates (Q) 3, 4, 5, and 6. 11. Measurement mode shows dose percentage, estimated dose percentage within 8 hours, peak level and measurement duration. 12. Daily exposure sound levels in countries compliant with European Union regulations or equivalent ISO standards (e.g. LAeq, 8hr, pa2h in IEC 61252, corresponding to LEX, 8h in ISO 1999). 13. Time-weighted average (TWA) measurement in compliance with US OSHA/MSHA regulations. 14. When used as a sound level meter, it can display time-averaged sound level (L Aeq) and peak sound exposure level (SEL). 15. Equipped with built-in clock and time-history capacitor, it realizes automatic operation timing function. 16. Sampling time can be set, ranging from 1 second to 1 hour, and up to 120,000 data points can be stored. 17. Ability to measure and save up to five specified LN values (statistical noise level). 18. Set parameters such as running time, preset start and stop time through meter keys or software.
The dose is used to quantify the noise exposure over a period of time. The noise exposure is converted into a percentage pair equivalent to 90dBA for 8 hours, that is, 100% dose = 90dBA for 8 hours. Miscellaneous standards such as 100% dose = 85dBA for 8 hours meet different national legislations. For example, in a 90dBA environment, 50% dose is obtained in 4 hours; if the Noise level is 93dBA (higher than 3dB), 100% dose is accumulated in 4 hours, which is suitable for 3dB exchange rate (3dB increase in sound level corresponds to doubling energy). For 5dB exchange rate, the sound increase of 5dB reaches double dose, which is suitable for noise regulations in various countries.

1. Lock and unlock the keyboard by key combination: up arrow and right arrow lock; left arrow and down arrow unlock. 2. Set the measurement time: can be set to 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 12, 24 hours. 3. Set Timer: Up to 16 Timers can be set (automatic start and stop, the longest measurement time can be set for one month), controlled by PC software or instrument keyboard. 4. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically records the data. 5. View the 50 stored dose results or download the data to your PC.
• Wait 10 seconds for stabilization after booting. • Pay attention to the overload indication: prompt when the selected Measurement range MAX Maximum is above 0.1dB. • Note Below Range Indication: Prompt when selecting 1dB below Measurement range MIN Minimum. • High Level Detector works at 115dB. • Power supply with 4 AA batteries to ensure sufficient power supply. When outputting data through the USB interface, ensure a stable connection.
