Overview
XTL-302BD Bright & Dark Field Upright Metallurgical Microscopy is an instrument introduced by TEELEN for microscopic observation of opaque objects. It adopts an excellent infinity Optical inspection system and Modular function design, which can be easily upgraded to realize functions such as polarization and dark field observation. Its compact and stable high-rigidity body meets vibration protection requirements. The ergonomic design makes the operation comfortable and convenient, and is suitable for the observation and study of metallographic structure and surface morphology in the fields of metallography, mineralogy, and precision engineering.
Features
1. Equipped with large field of view eyepiece and long distance flat field color difference objective lens (no coverslip), the field of view is large and clear.
2. Equipped with a large moving range mechanical stage, with a moving range of 204mm x 204mm.
3. Adopt coarse fretting coaxial focusing mechanism, coarse elastic adjustable, with limit locking device, fretting grid value is 0.8μm.
4. 6V 30W halogen lamp lighting, adjustable luminance.
5. With a three-eyeliner barrel, it is possible to freely switch between normal observation/polarized observation, bright field/dark field observation, and 100% light-transmitting photography.
Principle
Based on the Infinity Optical inspection system, the microscope irradiates the opaque sample surface with the ray of light emitted by the epiphany illumination system (built-in field of view light bar, aperture light bar and color filter conversion device). After the ray of light is reflected on the sample surface, it enters the eyepiece or camera interface through the objective lens and lens barrel group to form an enlarged image. Through the push-pull polarizer and polarizer components, the polarized light observation function can be realized; by switching the light path, the bright-field and dark-field observation can be realized.
Applications
Metallurgy, Mineralogy, Precision Engineering
Steps
1. Turn on the power and adjust the Illuminant luminance.
2. Place the sample on a mechanical stage and fix it.
3. Select the appropriate objective through the swirl/spin converter.
4. Use the coarse fretting coaxial focus knob to focus until the image is clear.
5. Observe different areas of the sample by moving the stage.
6. Switch the optical path mode of the three-eyepiece barrel (e.g. Brightfield/darkfield, polarized observation) or insert a color filter as required.
7. Perform observation or connect the camera device through the camera interface for image acquisition.
Notice
• Please handle it with care during operation to avoid violent vibration.
When adjusting the focal length, be careful to avoid collisions between the objective lens and the sample.
• When changing the objective lens or color filter, the action should be gentle.
• After use, please turn off the power and turn the luminance to the lowest level.
• Optical inspection parts are kept clean, using special tools if necessary.
• Travel range when moving the stage to avoid mechanical stuck.
