The LANDTEK GS-100D Gaussimeter is a portable magnetic field measuring instrument with Hall Sensor technology for DC magnetic field measurement with automatic zeroing, peak hold and unit conversion.

Principle

This series of instruments uses Hall Sensors based on the principle of Hall effect, including transverse and axial types. The circuit uses a low drift amplifier and a high stability power supply, which is controlled by a single chip microcomputer and displays the measurement values on a 4.5 LCD display.

Steps

1. Install four AA batteries for power supply. 2. Select Transverse or Axial Sensors as required. 3. Press the button to automatically zero. 4. Select the range (0mT to 200mT or 2000mT). 5. Perform magnetic field measurements, switchable units (mT/Gs) and use peak hold function.
