Overview
The LW-20 series Webster Hardness Tester is a portable hardness testing instrument from the LANDTEK brand, which can quickly test the Hardness of aluminum alloys in the field. The instrument is easy to use and can directly read the Hardness value in one card. It is suitable for rapid detection of the Hardness of aluminum alloy profiles, pipes, plates, aluminum workpieces and Miscellaneous soft metals. It is especially suitable for rapid, non-destructive piece-by-piece qualification inspection of batches of products at the production site, sales site or construction site.
Features
1. New materials and new processes are used to manufacture the needle, with high Hardness, long life and good interchangeability
2. The pointer is made of high-strength material, which is not easy to bend and deform after long-term use or wrong operation
3. The handle is made of forged material, surface anodic oxidation treatment, beautiful, wear-resistant and pollution-resistant
4. Standard Hardness Block Tested by Standard Hardness Machine
5. Fine parts processing, precision machine assembly, strict mass inspection
6. Full Point Stable, Correction Point Stable, Good Stability
Principle
Webster Hardness Tester applies pressure on the surface of the material by pressing the needle, and measures the hardness of materials according to the depth or area of the Cover. The instrument is designed for direct reading, and the Hardness value can be directly read by simply sticking the instrument on the material to be tested during testing.
Applications
Aluminum alloy profiles, pipes, plates, aluminum workpieces, Miscellaneous soft metals
Standards
Standard Hardness Block Tested by Standard Hardness Machine
Steps
1. Card the hardness gauge on the material to be tested
2. Directly read the Hardness value displayed by the hardness gauge
Notice
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use
• Avoid applying excessive force to the needle and pointer
• Regularly calibrate using standard Hardness Blocks
• Keep the instrument clean to avoid contamination
• Avoid high temperature and humid environment during storage
