Huinuo NBC-5608 electric Pencil hardness tester is an electric (semi-automatic) control equipment dedicated to the lame plating Hardness test of finished products. The instrument is suitable for lame plating hardness testing of mobile phone cases, MP3/MP4 cases, notebook computer cases and other digital home appliance shells. It realizes front and rear actions through stepper motor drive, and has the characteristics of low noise, stable operation and adjustable test stroke.

Principle
The instrument is mainly composed of a pencil holder and a test bench. The pencil holder and the column form a four-link structure to ensure that the weight weight acts vertically on the intersection of the pencil lead and the test bench, and keeps the pencil and the test bench at an angle of 45 °. The test bench can be moved horizontally and vertically to fix the Coating sample and slide the sample in the direction of scratch. The pencil draws a track on the test piece, and the film Hardness value is determined by replacing the different Hardness pencil scratches.

Steps
1. Fix the Hardness pencil at a 45 ° angle so that the front refill is in contact with the surface of the film layer
2. Apply the appropriate load (weight weight)
3. Move the test platform at a certain speed so that the surface of the film layer passes through the refill
4. Observe whether the film layer produces scratches
5. Replace the different Hardness pencils, test the repeability, and determine the soft pencil grade that does not cause damage

• The test angle should be kept at 45 °
• Weight weight selection should be appropriate (500g, 250g, 250g)
• The traverse speed of the test platform should be adjusted according to the standard requirements
• Samples need to be firmly fixed with clamps
