Overview
Yellow aging test chamber NBC-HB150 is a factory direct sales product, suitable for simulating the ultraviolet radiation and heat of sunlight, testing the degree of yellowing resistance of the sample, and the yellowing level can be determined by the gray mark of contamination. The machine has complete accessories, which can be used as a basic yellowing resistance test, and can also be used as an aging test machine and oven. It has a multi-purpose function of one machine.
Features
1. One machine multi-purpose, can carry out yellowing test, aging test and oven function
2. Using Osram OSRAM 300W yellowing resistant bulb, wavelength 365-400
3. Temperature Uniformity +/- 1 ℃ to ensure test accuracy
4. Turntable speed φ 330mm, 10 +/- 2rpm, time setting 1-999 hours adjustable
5. Inner box material SUS #304 stainless steel, outer box cold plate paint, strong durability
Principle
This machine simulates the effect of sunlight ultraviolet radiation and temperature through yellowing-resistant bulbs. After the sample is irradiated by ultraviolet rays and temperature in the machine, the degree of yellowing resistance is observed. Aging test can promote the deterioration of sulfur-added rubber, calculate the tensile force and elongation change rate before and after heating; Yellow resistance test simulates the change of Appearance caused by sunlight ultraviolet radiation in the atmospheric environment.
Applications
Resilience materials, rubber, plastics, tires, conveyor belts, soles, soft synthetic leather, leather
Standards
JIS-P8127、ASTMD1148
Steps
1. Place the sample in the machine
2. Set test temperature and time parameters
3. Activate UV irradiation and heating functions
4. Remove the sample after the agreed time
5. Use the contaminated gray label to observe and determine the yellowing level
Notice
The test time shall be set according to the manufacturer's agreement
• The recommended service life of the light bulb is 1000 hours and needs to be replaced regularly
• Power supply voltage 220V before operation
• Avoid direct contact with UV light sources during testing
• Regularly clean the inner box to maintain test accuracy
