Overview
Automotive interior material flame retardant test chamber is a device used to test the flame retardant performance of automotive interior materials. It is suitable for automobile manufacturing industry to ensure that the materials in the car have sufficient flame resistance when the fire source is in contact to reduce the risk of fire and improve passenger safety. The equipment is suitable for single materials or laminated composites, such as seat cushions, seat covers, seat belts, headrests, instrument panels and other interior organic materials. It consists of control box, combustion box, combustion lamp, solenoid valve, high voltage igniter, test product fixture, gas pipe and signal control line.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, beautiful appearance, smoke and gas corrosion resistance
2. Degree of automation
3. With automatic ignition, automatic gas supply, automatic timing, automatic end test and other functions
4. Easy to observe and record, stable and reliable to use
Principle
Through the control box and combustion box system, the device uses combustion lamps and high voltage igniters to conduct flame retardant testing on automotive interior material samples, solenoid valves automatically control gas supply, test fixtures fix materials, and automatic timing function records combustion time to evaluate the flame retardant performance of materials.
Standards
GB8410-2006、ISO379、ASTM D5132
Steps
1. Prepare the specimen and fix it on the specimen fixture
2. Connect the gas source (self-provided liquefied gas) and the power supply (220V/50Hz)
3. Start the device, automatically ignite and start the test
4. Automatic gas supply and timing, observe the combustion process
5. Automatically end the test and record the results
