Principle
The test plate affixed with the adhesive sample is hung vertically on the test frame, and the weight of the specified weight is suspended at the lower end. The displacement of the sample after a certain period of time, or the time when the sample is completely disengaged, is used to characterize the ability of the adhesive sample to resist pulling off.
Applications
Pressure sensitive adhesive, adhesive, sticker, hot melt adhesive
Standards
GB 4851、JIS Z0237、ASTM D3654
Steps
1. After removing the 3 to 5 loops of adhesive tape on the outermost layer of the adhesive tape test paper, unwrap the sample roll at a rate of about 300 mm/min, and cut the samples with a width of 25 mm and a length of about 100 mm in the middle of the adhesive tape at intervals of about 200 mm. Unless otherwise specified, the number of samples in each group is not less than three.
2. Wipe the test plate and loading plate with a cleaning agent dipped in the wiping material, then carefully dry them with clean gauze, and wash them repeatedly for more than three times until the working surface of the plate is visually inspected to be clean. After cleaning, do not touch the working surface of the plate with hands or Miscellaneous objects.
3. At a temperature of 23 ° C +/- 2 ° C and a relative humidity of 65% +/- 5%, paste the specimen parallel to the longitudinal direction of the plate in the middle of the adjacent test plate and the loading plate. Roll over the specimen with a press roller at a speed of about 300 mm/min. Note that when rolling, only the force generated by the press roller mass can be applied to the specimen. The number of rolls can be specified according to the specific product conditions, if not specified, the reciprocating rolling is three times.
4. After the sample is pasted on the plate, it should be placed at a temperature of 23 ° C +/- 2 ° C and a relative humidity of 65% +/- 5% for 20 min. Then fix the test plate vertically on the test rack of the instrument and gently connect the loading plate and weight with a pin.
5. Place the instrument horizontally, turn on the power switch, heating switch and fan switch in turn, press the raised part on the Timer to clear the time. The instrument automatically turns on according to the preset temperature until the temperature in the test chamber is constant to the set value.
6. After reaching the specified time, remove the weight. Use a magnifying glass with indexing to measure the amount of displacement of the sample sliding down, accurate to 0.1mm; or record the time of the sample peeling from the test plate. The number of times is greater than or equal to 1h, in min, and less than 1h in s.
Notice
• When rolling, only the force generated by the roller mass can be applied to the sample
• Do not touch the working surface of the board with hands or Miscellaneous objects after cleaning
• The number of samples is not less than three (unless otherwise specified)
• Rolling times If not specified, reciprocate rolling three times
