Overview
Defelsko B Advanced 200B3-E Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is an advanced ultrasonic Coating thickness gauge, which can not only measure the total thickness of coatings, but also measure the measurement of multi-coating systems, up to 3 Coating thicknesses. The instrument has a large capacity storage of 100,000 thickness readings, and supports multi-platform data reading such as PC, ISO system, Android system, etc. It is suitable for measurement of polymer Coating thickness on wood, plastic and other substrates.
Features
1. Durable: resistant to solvents, acids, oils, water and dust, all-weather protection; rubber sheath with belt buckle has shock absorption and protection functions; host and Probe provide two-year mass guarantee
2. Portable and easy to use: easy to use, no need to calibrate for most tests; one-handed operation menu; two-color indicator light performs well in noisy environments; RESET restart function can quickly restore factory settings
3. Accurate measurement: Traceability to NIST calibration proof; Sensitive Sensor provides fast and accurate readings; Non-destructive ultrasonic thickness measurement technology meets ASTM D6132 and ISO 2808 standards
4. More uses: PosiTector host has high versatility and can be compatible with a variety of Probes; Mil/micron unit free switching; high contrast backlight display; support alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries
5. Powerful performance: continuous display of average, Standard Deviation, minimum/maximum thickness and number of readings; screenshot function; USB fast connection to computer; software update via Internet
Principle
Coating thickness measurement using proven non-destructive ultrasonic thickness measurement technology by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals through a sensitive Sensor. For multi-coating systems, it is possible to distinguish and measure the thickness of up to 3 coatings, and output graphical data for detailed coating analysis.
Applications
Wood, plastic, etc. polymer coatings
Standards
ASTM D6132、ISO 2808
Steps
1. Power on the instrument
2. Measurement mode (single coating or multiple coatings)
3. Place the Probe on the surface of the coating to be tested
4. Read the thickness data on the display
5. Transfer data via USB or Bluetooth connection device
6. Use PosiSoft software to analyze and manage data
Notice
• Ensure that the Probe is in full contact with the coated surface for accurate readings
• Rely on two-color indicator lights to assist operation in noisy environments
• Regularly update software via the Internet to maintain instrument functionality
• Use the appropriate battery type (alkaline or rechargeable)
• Be aware of capacity limitations when storing data (up to 100,000 readings)
• Multi-coating measurement to confirm that the coating system meets the instrument Measurement range
