Overview
Battery Weight Impact Tester is a test device used to evaluate the safety and structural integrity of batteries when they are hit or compressed by heavy objects. This testing machine simulates the impact of heavy objects that batteries may encounter in daily use or special circumstances, so as to evaluate the reaction and safety risks of batteries in such situations. The testing machine generally includes a release mechanism for free-falling objects of a certain weight from a specified height directly onto the battery, or slowly pressing heavy objects onto the battery. Suitable for various types of batteries, especially large batteries or battery packs, such as electric vehicle batteries, mobile power supplies, etc.
Features
1. Can simulate the deformation of the battery when it is subjected to heavy objects and the possible explosion situation
2. Equipped with a control panel, easy to operate
3. Impact height adjustable to meet different standard requirements
4. Automatically rise to the set height and stop, safe operation
Principle
The specimen (battery) is to be placed on the platen plane, and a 15.8 mm (5/8 inch) diameter steel bar is placed horizontally in the center of the specimen. Drop to the specimen from a height of 610 +/- 25mm or 1000 +/- 25mm (adjustable to different standards) with a weight of 9.1kg or 10kg +/- 0.46kg (20 +/- 1 lb).
Applications
All kinds of batteries, electric vehicle batteries, mobile power supplies
Standards
GB/T18287-2000、UL1642、QC/T743-2006
Steps
1. Confirm that the power supply voltage is 220V, turn on the power supply, turn on the power switch, and the fan starts randomly
2. According to the "Displacement Table Setting Instructions", set the required Impact height, and then press the "Rise" button, the weight of the falling ball will automatically rise to the set test height, and then automatically stop
3. Before opening the box door, put down the drop hammer, place the test sample in the center position of the pressure plate, then place the crossbar in the center position of the sample to clamp the battery, close the box door, and rise to the set test height
4. Press the "Impact" button, the weight of the ball falls freely, and complete a test
Notice
• operating environment requirements: room temperature within the range of 10 ℃ -40 ℃; environment humidity within 30% -80%
• The machine needs to be installed and positioned on a horizontal platform with a certain strength
• Before opening the box door, the drop hammer must be lowered to prevent safety accidents
• Strictly follow the operation steps to ensure test safety
