Overview
FRARIV F100 Scott capacity meter is a special device designed and produced according to the provisions of the national standard GB/T 1479.2-2011 of the People's Republic of China, which is suitable for the measurement of the loose density of powders by Scott capacity meter method.
Features
1. Assembled with two large and small conical funnels, with a metal sieve with an aperture of 1.18mm in the middle
2. The baffle box has four removable and cleaning baffles, which effectively destroys the powder drop and slows down the flow speed
3. Equipped with bracket and vibration-free horizontal base to ensure measurement Stability
4. Optional Precise Balance, weighing accuracy up to +/- 0.05g
5. Using 304 stainless steel mass cup, volume 25mL +/- 0.05mL, inner diameter 30mm +/- 1mm
Principle
Powder by a series of inclined baffles Scott volumeter filled with a known volume of glassgraduates with scale, the powder was loose state, and then fully filled with measurement of the mass of the powder glassgraduates with scale, the mass to volume ratio to represent the loose density.
Applications
Powder bulk density measurement
Standards
GB/T 1479.2-2011
Steps
1. Install the instrument components to ensure that the baffle inside the baffle box is installed correctly
2. Place the glassgraduates with scales on the bracket and adjust to the horizontal state
3, the powder through the funnel and baffle box system into the glassgraduates with scale
4. After the glassgraduates with scales are completely filled with powder, weigh the powder mass
5. Calculate the ratio of mass to volume to obtain the loose density
Notice
• No powder can pass between the upper edge of the baffle and the box
• The lower edge of the baffle should be in a straight line or slightly overlapping from the vertical surface
• Ensure that the instrument base is at a vibration-free level
• Regularly clean the baffle in the baffle box to keep the instrument clean
• Balance with appropriate accuracy
