Overview
PR600 visual gas leak imagery detector is a gas leak detection device based on ultrasonic principle. During mobile scanning, when a leak signal is detected, the instrument will mark the leak point location in real time with a yellow (small leakage) or red (large leakage) box on the large color LCD screen, and display the specific leak amount value in the form of a color light column at the bottom of the screen.
Features
1. Visual detection system, can take pictures of leakage points and store them to the computer for analysis.
2. Wide detection range, can detect compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen, steam and other gas leakage.
3. Various functions, suitable for vacuum negative pressure leakage, valve leakage, heat exchanger, boiler, condenser leakage detection.
4. Rich application scenarios, can be used for air tightness testing, Pressure Vessels and trains, aircraft, automobiles and other sealing environment detection.
5. Equipped with mechanical failure predictive maintenance functions, such as detecting defective bearings, gearboxes, etc.
6. Integrated temperature detection, steam trap leak detection, and mechanical damage auscultation.
7. High Accuracy Sensor, center detection frequency 42kHz, gain adjustable range of 40 to 106 dB.
Principle
The instrument captures the ultrasonic signal of a specific frequency (center frequency about 42 kHz) generated when the gas leaks through the High Sensitivity Ultrasonic Sensor. After the detected signal is processed, the real-time imagery is displayed on the color LCD screen of the instrument, and the position and relative intensity of the leakage point are visually displayed in different Color boxes (yellow/red). At the same time, the signal intensity is quantified in the form of decibel value (dB) and color light beam.
Applications
Compressed air systems, oxygen systems, nitrogen systems, steam systems, vacuum systems, valves, heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, Pressure Vessels, trains, aircraft, aviation equipment, submarines, automobiles, bearings, gearboxes, steam traps
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power supply and select the corresponding detection mode.
2. Handheld device, align the Sensor with the area to be detected for mobile scanning.
3. Observe the screen. When a yellow or red marker box appears, it is a suspected leak point.
4. Determine the amount of leakage according to the Color and value of the light beam at the bottom of the screen.
5. Align the confirmed leak point and use the camera function to record the image (the image contains the leak location, number, date and time, etc.).
6. The stored pictures can be exported to the computer for further analysis through the USB interface.
Notice
* Please use within the Ambient Temperature range of the instrument (-20 ° C to 75 ° C).
Make sure the battery is fully charged to achieve a full 10-hour operating time.
* When detecting in a dark environment, the built-in LED lighting can be turned on to assist in taking pictures.
* When expanding the auscultation function, a Bluetooth headset or speaker needs to be connected.
* The maximum number of stored images is about 1000, so pay attention to exporting data regularly.
* The instrument accuracy is +/- 0.3dBuV, please consider this error range when interpreting the data.
