Overview
JB300B Semi-automatic Metal Pendulum Impact Tester is a testing equipment used to measure the impact performance of metal materials under dynamic load. It adopts a single support column main structure and a cantilever pendulum method, which is suitable for simply supported beam impact testing of metal samples.
Features
1. The main engine of the testing machine is a single-supported column structure, a cantilever-type hanging pendulum, and a U-shaped pendulum hammer body.
2. Impact knives are installed and fixed with screws, making replacement simple and convenient.
3. The specimen is supported by a simple supported beam.
4. The main engine is equipped with a safety pin and a safety net.
Principle
The tester makes the pendulum have potential energy by pre-lifting it to a set angle (150 °). After release, the pendulum falls freely, converts the potential energy into kinetic energy, and impacts the specimen in the simply supported beam state at a speed of 5.2m/s. Impact toughness of the material is evaluated by measuring the remaining energy after the pendulum impacts the specimen, and calculating the impact work absorbed by the fracture of the specimen.
Applications
Metallurgy, Boiler Pressure Vessel, Steel, Steel Pipe, Hardware, Foundry, Pumps, Valves, Fasteners, Vehicles, Machinery Manufacturing, Petrochemicals, Aerospace and Research Institutions
Standards
GB/T3038-2007、GB/T229-1994
Steps
1. Check the status of the equipment to ensure that the safety net is in place.
2. Select the appropriate impact energy gear (300J or 150J) according to the test requirements.
3. Place the standard specimen (10mm x 10mm x 55mm) accurately on the specimen support with a span of 40mm.
4. Adjust the pendulum advance angle to 150 ° and fix it.
5. Release the pendulum for impact test.
6. Read or record the residual energy indication of the pendulum after the sample is broken.
7. Calculate Impact Absorption Work.
Notice
• Before operation, it is necessary to check whether the safety protection device (protective pin, protective net) is in good condition and effective.
• When installing and replacing Impact knives, ensure that the fastening screws are reliable.
• Specimens must be operated in strict accordance with standard specifications (10mmX10mmX55mm) and placement requirements.
• The power supply of the equipment is three-phase four-wire 50HZ 380V, and it is necessary to ensure that the power supply meets the requirements.
• Non-professional personnel should not operate or repair this equipment.
• Regularly maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure test accuracy.
