Overview
The KAIRDA TSTU32 Probe is a large-range Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Probe with a split construction design that externally enables thickness measurement of good conductor materials in different Measurement ranges. Designed for high penetration applications, the Probe is suitable for a variety of environmental conditions.
Features
1. Measurement range for thick materials
2. High penetration characteristics, enhanced measurement capability
3. split structure design, flexible adaptation to different thickness gauges
4. Optimized for thickness measurement of good conductor materials
Principle
The TSTU32 Probe works on the principle of ultrasound and calculates thickness by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals and measuring the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in materials. Its 2MHz Frequency and 22mm diameter design provides high penetration capability for thick-walled material measurements.
Applications
Industrial inspection, material thickness measurement, pipeline inspection, equipment maintenance
Standards
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge
Steps
1. Connect the TSTU32 Probe to the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Host
2. Apply coupling agent to the measurement surface
3. Fit the Probe vertically to the surface of the tested material
4. Read the thickness value displayed by the thickness gauge
5. Move Probe for multi-point measurement as needed
Notice
• Ensure that the measurement surface is clean and flat
• Use sufficient coupling agent to ensure sound transmission
• Probe needs to be vertically fitted to the tested surface
• Avoid long-term use in high temperature environments
• Probe abrasion checked regularly
