Overview
The side pressure tension tester is a special instrument for measuring the tension of ropes such as wind towers, signal transmission towers, and power transmission systems. It has the advantages of easy operation and easy portability, and has a variety of test modes, which is convenient for testers to use.
Features
1. High Accuracy High resolution, digital display, ignore poor.
2. N (newton), kg (kilogram), lb (pound), g (gram) four measurement units are available for selection and conversion.
3. Peak hold function, keep peak display until manually cleared.
4. It can be powered by alkaline battery or 5V DC power supply.
Principle
Sensors measure the tensile force of the measured objects such as ropes, and convert the force signal into an electrical signal, which is displayed on the LCD screen in digital form after processing. The instrument has a peak holding function, which can record and maintain the maximum force value in the measurement process.
Applications
Wind towers, signal transmission towers, power transmission systems
Steps
1. Select the appropriate unit (N, kg, lb, g) according to the measurement requirements.
2. Install or clamp the instrument correctly on the tested rope.
3. Apply a pulling force and observe the instantaneous value or peak value on the display.
4. If you need to record the peak, you can use the peak hold function to manually clear after the measurement is completed.
5. After use, you can choose to shut down manually or wait for 10 minutes to shut down automatically.
Notice
• Do not exceed the allowable load of the instrument (150% F.s), the instrument will emit a beep alarm when it exceeds 110% F.s.
• Please use in the specified working environment (0 ℃~ 40 ℃, humidity < 80%, no seismic source and corrosive medium around).
• Please use the specified power supply (2 AA batteries or 5V DC power supply).
• Pay attention to the resolution switching point (e.g. 100kgf, 1000N, 1000Lbf) to ensure accurate reading.
• Keep the instrument properly to avoid violent collisions.
