Overview
The KAIRDA N02 Probe is a split Probe designed for Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge, suitable for thickness measurement of coarse-grained materials such as cast iron. It expands the thickness gauge function externally to adapt to different environmental conditions for accurate measurement.
Features
1. Dedicated to cast iron and other coarse crystal material measurement; 2. Frequency is 2MHz, Probe diameter is 12mm; 3. Measurement range is wide, steel material is 3.0-300 mm, gray cast iron material is 40.0mm or less; 4. Minimum pipe diameter is 20mm; 5. Split design, easy to connect with thickness gauge.
Principle
Operating on the principle of ultrasound, the Probe emits high-frequency sound waves to penetrate the material and calculates the material thickness by receiving the echo signal. Optimized for coarse-grained materials, ensuring accurate measurements in materials such as cast iron.
Applications
Cast iron material thickness measurement, coarse crystal material detection
Steps
1. Correctly connect the N02 Probe to the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge; 2. Select the Measurement mode as the coarse crystal material; 3. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the measured material; 4. Start the thickness gauge for measurement; 5. Read and record the thickness data.
Notice
• Ensure that the Probe is in close contact with the tested surface; • Only suitable for coarse-grained materials such as cast iron; • Avoid the tilt of the Probe during measurement; • Check the Probe abrasion regularly; • Clean the Probe surface after use.
