The HI6321-02 is a Benchtop Conductivity Meter from the HANNA brand, featuring a streamlined design and a large Touchscreen display. The instrument consists of a mainframe and an integrated conductivity measurement module, is compact, easy to operate, and includes the HI7631233 four-ring conductivity/resistivity/TDS/salinity Probe. The Probe is suitable for a wide range of industrial water treatment applications, providing stable measurements over a wide Measurement range without frequent calibrations. The instrument has a built-in temperature sensor that adjusts the measured conductivity value to the reference temperature through a variety of compensation algorithms, including linear, standard (for high purity water) and natural (for groundwater, etc.). In addition, the instrument can calculate TDS values based on conductivity and supports the measurement of multiple salinity scales such as actual salinity (PSU), seawater salinity (ppt), and salinity percentage (%).
1. Equipped with 7-inch capacitive multi-point touch screen, user-friendly interface, easy to navigate icons. 2. Provide five data display views: simple GLP, full GLP, interactive graphics, tabular data, and calibrated information. 3. Support conductivity single point or multi-point calibrating, and salinity single point calibrating, calibrated data can be stored non-volatile. 4. Powerful data recording function, supports manual, automatic and automatic holding modes, and can store at least 1 million data points with timestamp. 5. With a variety of connection methods, including USB-A, USB-C, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and RS232, it is convenient to export data to a USB flash drive, PC, or transfer it over a network. 6. Built-in instrument guidance help section, providing video demonstration support for main functions.
The HI6321-02 makes measurements via its included HI7631233 four-ring conductivity Probe. The Probe applies alternating current to the solution and calculates the conductivity (EC) of the solution by measuring the resulting current. The instrument has a built-in temperature sensor for real-time measurement of sample temperature and normalizes the conductivity value to a set reference temperature by applying a user-selected temperature compensation algorithm such as linear, standard, or natural water compensation. Based on the normalized conductivity value, the instrument can further calculate the total dissolved solids (TDS), resistivity, and salinity values on multiple scales.
Wide range of industrial process water applications, high purity water measurement, natural groundwater, well water, surface water, seawater analysis
ASTM D5391-14、ISO 7888
1. Connect the power supply and turn on the instrument. Connect the HI7631233 conductivity Probe to the instrument. 3. According to the measurement requirements (such as conductivity, salinity), calibrate with the corresponding standard solution. 4. In the calibrate menu, select the auto-recommended or user-defined calibrate point. 5. Immerse the Probe into the sample to be tested. 6. Select the desired Measurement parameters (e.g. EC, TDS, salinity) and Display View on the Touchscreen. 7. After the reading is stable, you can manually record or set the automatic recording data. 8. After the measurement is completed, the recorded data can be exported via USB, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
• When making high-purity water resistivity measurements (> 1 MΩ · cm), the "standard" temperature compensation mode should be selected. • "Natural" temperature compensation is recommended for measurement of natural groundwater, well water or surface water. • When calibrating salinity percentage (%), use 100% salinity standard for single point calibrating. • Ensure that the calibrating fluid used is within the valid period and matches the Standard value set by the instrument. • Probes should be properly cleaned and stored after use. • Instruments should be used at Ambient Temperatures from 0 to 50 ° C.
