Overview
The HI98192 is a waterproof Portable Conductivity Meter from the HANNA brand. It has an extended conductivity Measurement range from 0.000 μS/cm to 400mS/cm, and supports TDS, resistivity and three salinity scale measurements. The meter is equipped with a quick-connect four-ring Probe, which allows the user to adjust the nominal battery constant and meets all three stages of the USP < 645 > method for ultrapure water EC measurement.

Principle
The HI98192 Conductivity Meter uses four-ring stainless steel Electrode technology to indirectly determine the Ion concentration of the solution by measuring the conductivity of the solution. The instrument automatically performs temperature compensation, which can correct the measurement results according to the set temperature coefficient to ensure the measurement accuracy under different temperature conditions. Supports a variety of parameter conversions, including mutual conversion between conductivity, TDS, resistivity and salinity.

Steps
1. Turn it on and check the battery level.
2. Select the appropriate Measurement mode (conductivity, TDS, resistivity or salinity)
3. Set temperature compensation parameters as needed
4. Use a standard solution for calibrating (up to five points calibrated)
5. Electrode immersion in the sample to be tested
6. Wait for the reading to stabilize, and the AutoHold function will automatically lock the displayed value
7. Recording or transmitting measurement data

• Fresh standard solution should be used when calibrating
• Avoid Violent Impacts or Collisions to Electrodes
• Electrode is fully immersed in the sample during measurement
