Overview
The HI8734 is a rugged Portable TDS measurement instrument designed for use in a wide range of environmental conditions. Equipped with a four-ring Conductivity detector Probe for three Measurement ranges. TDS readings are adjusted via manual temperature compensation to ensure a consistent and accurate measurement of total solids solubility by the user. Suitable for applications such as softening, desalination, reverse osmosis (RO) and drinking water. A good choice for water regulation, water quality softening, reverse osmosis (RO), desalination and TDS determination of total solids solubility in drinking water.

Principle
TDS readings are adjusted by manual temperature compensation to ensure a consistent and accurate measurement of total solids solubility by the user. TDS Factor - The TDS value in aqueous solutions is proportional to the conductivity EC, and the ratio between the two parameters depends on the solution under test. HI8734 has a TDS coefficient of 0.5, which is common in many solutions, meaning that 1 μS/cm equals a TDS of 0.5 mg/L (ppm).
