Overview
KAIRDA Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is designed with split structure, which can realize the thickness measurement of good conductor material in different measurement ranges by connecting different types of Probe externally, which is suitable for different environmental conditions. The N05/90 Probe is a standard 90 degree Probe, which is suitable for thickness measurement in room temperature environment.

Principle
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge emits ultrasonic signals through the Probe, which generate echoes when the signal propagates inside the material and encounters the interface. Material thickness is calculated by measuring the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the material. The N05/90 Probe emits and receives ultrasonic signals at a 90 degree angle.

Steps
1. Connect N05/90 Probe with thickness gauge host
2. Choose the right Measurement mode
3. Fit the Probe vertically to the surface of the tested material
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. Record measurement results
Notice
• Only suitable for normal temperature environment (< 60 ℃)
The material under test should be a good conductor
• Probe should be fully fitted to the measured surface during measurement
• Pipe measurement needs to meet the minimum pipe diameter requirement φ 20mmX3mm
• Measurement range between 1.2mm~ 230.0mm (steel)
