Overview
The HANNA HI98193 is a Portable dissolved oxygen meter with an extended Measurement range of up to 50 ppm and 600% Saturation. Pressure, temperature and salinity compensation, the instrument is equipped with the HI764073 Polarographic dissolved oxygen Probe and features a field replaceable Teflon membrane cap to ensure accurate dissolved oxygen readings.

Principle
The HI98193 uses Polarography measurement of dissolved oxygen and the HI764073 Polarographic Dissolved Oxygen Probe to detect oxygen content in water samples. The instrument ensures measurement accuracy through pressure, temperature and salinity compensation, and built-in calculation functions measure biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), oxygen consumption rate (OUR) and specific oxygen consumption rate (SOUR).

Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on
2. Probe automatic polarization
3. Measurement mode (DO, BOD, OUR or SOUR)

7. Measured value
8. Store measurement data on demand
