Features
1. LED High Quality Illuminant System, Provide Stable Illuminant, Low Heat, Improve Electronic Stability.
2. High quality Optical inspection filter, 8 nm Narrowband Interference filter, wavelength accuracy +/- 1 nm, Absorbance increased by 25% to ensure Measurement accuracy.
3. Reference detector to compensate for changes in battery voltage and Ambient Temperature for fast and stable readings.
4. Stable and Efficient Illuminant Settings, Concave Focusing Lenses Reduce Glass Cuvette Defect Errors.
5. CAL Check ™ function, support NIST traceability standard for performance verification and calibrate.
Principle
The HI97701 photometer is based on the Absorbance Measurement principle and uses an LED Illuminant and an 8 nm narrowband Interference filter to detect sample Absorbance changes through a silicon photopower source. The reference detector automatically adjusts the LED voltage to compensate for external disturbances and ensure a stable Illuminant output. The instrument follows the EPADPD method standard for measurement of residual chlorine concentration and is verified by the CAL Check ™ function.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory testing
Standards
IP67 waterproof standard, EPADPD method standard
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply of the instrument and check the battery status.
2. Use CAL Check ™ function for performance verification and calibrate.
3. Prepare the sample and place it in the Glass Cuvette.
4. Insert the Cuvette into the instrument and start the measurement.
5. Read and record the measurement results, and the data is automatically stored.
6. After the measurement is completed, the instrument automatically shuts down (after 15 minutes without operation).
Notice
Make sure the battery is fully charged to avoid measurement interruptions.
• Carry out CAL Check ™ verification before use to ensure the accuracy of the instrument.
• Keep Glass Cuvette clean without scratches or defects.
• Operating Ambient Temperature controlled at 0-50 ° C, Humidity not exceeding 95% without condensation.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme environments to protect instrument performance.
