Principle
The HI97701 photometer is based on the EPA DPD method and detects residual chlorine concentration in samples using a Light Emitting Diode Illuminant system (Bandwidth 8nm, wavelength accuracy +/- 1.0nm) and a silicon photosource. The built-in Reaction Timer ensures standardization and conformity of the measurement process.
Applications
Water quality testing, environment monitoring, laboratory analysis
Standards
IP67 waterproof standard, EPA DPD method
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Use the CAL CheckTM function for performance verification and calibrating.
3. Place the sample in the Glass Cuvette and close the lid.
4. Select the Measuring method and start the built-in Reaction Timer.
5. Read and record the measurement results, and the data is automatically stored.
6. Automatic shutdown or manual shutdown after use.
Notice
• The instrument is used in a 0-50 ° C environment to avoid extreme temperatures.
• Operate under non-condensing conditions with relative humidity not exceeding 95%.
Make sure the battery is fully charged before use to avoid measurement interruptions.
• Regularly calibrate with NIST traceability standards to ensure accuracy.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) when operating.
• The automatic shutdown is set to 15 minutes without operation, and the data is saved in time.
