Overview
The HI97742 2-in-1 Iron LR and Manganese LR Portable Photometer is an instrument for the simultaneous measurement of iron ions (Fe ² ² and Fe ³) and manganese ions (Mn ²) in water. Both iron and manganese are important metal elements and are of great significance in water quality monitoring and environment protection. It is commonly used in the fields of environment monitoring, wastewater treatment, drinking water mass detection, etc., in order to quickly and accurately assess the iron and manganese content in water and ensure that the water quality meets the requirements of relevant standards and regulations.

Principle
The photometer uses LED@575nm Illuminant and Silicon Illuminant, Bandwidth 8nm, wavelength accuracy +/- 1.0nm, measurement of iron ions by TPTZ method (Measurement range 0.00 to 1.60 mg/L), and 1- (2-pyridylazo) -2-naphthol PAN method measurement of manganese ions (Measurement range 0 to 300 μg/L), using Optical inspection system to detect sample Absorbance, to achieve rapid and accurate water quality analysis.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it in the reaction cup.
2. Use the built-in Reaction Timer to ensure consistent reaction time;
3. Verify or calibrate performance through CAL CheckTM function;
4. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically analyzes and displays the results;
The data is automatically stored and the last 50 measurement records can be viewed.

• Use 1.5V AA batteries (3 pcs), Battery life is greater than 800 hours without backlight;
• Automatic shutdown after 15 minutes of no operation to save power;
