Overview
The HI97746 Iron [LR] Portable Photometer is an instrument used for the measurement of iron ion (Fe ² and Fe ³) content in water. Iron is an important metallic element that is widely found in nature, but may adversely affect water quality and ecosystems at high concentrations. It is commonly used in the fields of environment monitoring, water quality control, industrial process control, etc., to ensure that the concentration of iron in water is within safe limits and meets the requirements of relevant standards and regulations. The instrument is IP67 waterproof and designed with an innovative Optical inspection system with good accuracy, repeatability and fast Measurement time, CAL CheckTM function allows performance verification and calibrating using NIST traceability standards, built-in reaction Timer ensures result conformity, GLP function displays the last calibrated date and time, with battery status indicator and automatic shutdown settings.
Features
1. LED high-quality Illuminant system, providing good performance and high luminous efficiency;
2. High Quality Optical inspection Filter to Ensure High Measurement Stability and Less Wavelength Error, Improve Measurement accuracy and accuracy;
3. Unique reference detector for fast stabilization of readings between blank (zero) measurement and sample measurement;
4. Stable Illuminant Settings to Reduce Errors and Reading Offsets Caused by Glass Colorimetric Cup Defects;
5. CAL CheckTM function, support performance verification and calibrating.
Principle
The HI97746 Iron [LR] Portable Photometer is based on the TPTZ method, using LED Illuminant to illuminate the sample at a wavelength of 525nm. Absorbance changes are detected by silicon Illuminant and Optical inspection filters to calculate the iron Ion concentration in water. The unique reference detector and stable Illuminant design ensure fast and stable measurement and reduce external interference.
Applications
Environment monitoring, water quality control, industrial process control
Standards
IP67 waterproof standard
Steps
