Overview
HI97747 Copper [Cu, LR] Portable Waterproof Photometer is an instrument for the measurement of copper ion (Cu ² ²) content in water. Copper is an important metal element, widely used in industry, agriculture and daily life, but high concentrations of copper ions may be toxic to the environment and organisms. Commonly used in environment monitoring, wastewater treatment, drinking water mass detection and other fields to ensure that the concentration of copper in water is within a safe range and meets the requirements of relevant standards and regulations.
Features
1. Comply with IP67 waterproof standard;
2. Optical inspection system design with good accuracy, repeatability and time required for measurement;
3. CAL CheckTM function allows instrument performance verification and calibrating using NIST traceability standards, a variety of Measuring methods;
4. Built-in Reaction Timer to ensure consistent results between sample measurements and users;
5. Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) displays the date and time after the user calibrates, battery status indicator, and automatic shutdown settings.
Principle
The photometer uses LED@575nm Illuminant and Silicon Illuminant, Bandwidth 8nm, wavelength accuracy +/- 1.0nm, Optical inspection system measurement of copper Ion concentration in water, Measurement range is 0.000 to 1.500 mg/L, resolution is 0.001 mg/L.
Applications
Environment monitoring, wastewater treatment, drinking water mass testing
Steps
1. Prepare samples and reaction cups.
2. Use CAL CheckTM function for performance verification and calibrating;
3. Start the built-in reaction Timer for measurement;
4. Read and store measurement results;
5. View the date and time calibrated according to the GLP function.
Notice
• Ensure that the instrument is used in an environment from 0 to 50 ° C with a maximum of 100% RH;
• Use 1.5V AA batteries (3 pcs) and pay attention to the battery status indicator;
• Automatic shutdown after 15 minutes of no operation to save power;
• Periodically calibrated with NIST traceability standards;
• Avoid high concentrations of copper samples beyond the Measurement range.
