Principle

The HI715 Ammonia Nitrogen Tintometer works based on the principle of chemical reaction between ammonia nitrogen and a specific Reagent. When the Reagent is added to a water sample, the ammonia nitrogen in the water sample reacts with the Reagent to produce dye or settling, and then the concentration of ammonia nitrogen is determined by the Tintometer measurement of the Absorbance or Color Comparison of the solution.
