Overview
The HANNA HI719 Photometer is a Tintometer for the measurement of mg Hardness in water. It is designed to be simple, compact, accurate and affordable. Hardness in water is mainly caused by calcium ions and mg ions, and this instrument is specially designed to measure mg/Calcium Hardness.
Features
1. Measurement range 0.00~ 2.00 ppm, resolution 0.01 ppm
2. accuracy +/- 0.20 ppm +/- 5% of reading
3. LED @525nm Illuminant
4. Automatic shutdown after ten minutes without operation
5. Based on EDTA Colorimetry, refer to the 18th edition of the standard detection method for water and wastewater
Principle
Using EDTA Colorimetry Measurement principle, the photometric detection was carried out by LED @525nm Illuminant, and the mg Ion concentration was determined with reference to the standard method of the 18th edition of the standard detection method for water and wastewater.
Applications
Water monitoring, groundwater monitoring, river monitoring, lake monitoring, industrial water treatment, metal processing, metallurgical industry, environment monitoring
Standards
Standard detection methods for water and wastewater 18th edition
Steps
1. Sample Handling with HI719-25 Reagent
2. Use the HI719-11 calibration group for instrument calibration
3. Put the processed sample into the instrument for measurement
4. Read the displayed mg Ion concentration value
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is properly calibrated before measurement
• Use the designated HI719-25 Reagent and HI719-11 Calibration Set
• The instrument will automatically shut down after ten minutes of no operation
• Measurement results take into account +/- 0.20 ppm +/- 5% accuracy of readings
