Overview
Phosphorus exists in water in the form of phosphoric acid salts. It is derived from biotransformation and industrial wastewater. It is widely used in agricultural fertilizers, cleaning agents and industrial boiler corrosion protection. Phosphoric acid salts are important life nutrients, but excessive amounts can lead to eutrophication of water bodies. The HI736 Phosphorus ULR Tintometer is designed to be compact and easy to use, and is specifically designed to detect phosphoric acid salts in water.
Features
1. LED Illuminant is used, which has better performance and higher luminous efficiency than traditional tungsten lamps, and can provide stable Illuminant with less energy.
2. LED can ignore its own heat generation to avoid high temperature affecting the Stability of electronic products.
3. With CAL CheckTM function, allowing performance verification and calibrating using NIST traceability standards.
4. CAL CheckTM NIST Linear dispersion calibration group can simulate specific Absorbance values to verify the accuracy of subsequent readings.
Principle
Absorbance is detected by LED Illuminant at 525nm wavelength to determine the phosphoric acid concentration.
Applications
Water phosphoric acid salt detection, agricultural monitoring, industrial wastewater analysis, environment eutrophication assessment
Standards
NIST traceability standard
Steps
Prepare samples with HI736-25 Reagent.
2. Turn on the instrument and perform CAL CheckTM performance verification.
3. Put the sample into the Tintometer measurement.
4. Read and record phosphoric acid concentration data.
Notice
• Make sure to use the specified HI736-25 Reagent and HI736-11 calibration group.
• The instrument automatically shuts down after three minutes of no operation to save power.
• Regularly use the CAL CheckTM function to verify the accuracy of the instrument.
• Avoid use in high temperature environments to prevent affecting measurement Stability.
