Overview
HI775 is a handheld photometer of HANNA brand, specially used for the measurement of seawater/freshwater alkalinity. It has low, medium and high range, simple operation, accurate measurement and cost-effective, more accurate, fast and easy to carry than chemical test Reagent box.
Features
1. LED Illuminant is used, which has better performance and higher luminous efficiency than traditional tungsten lamps, can provide stable Illuminant with less energy, and its own heat can be ignored, reducing the impact on electronic stability.
2. Capable of CAL CheckTM, allowing performance verification and calibrating using NIST traceability standards, ensuring accuracy of subsequent readings by simulating specific Absorbance values.
Principle
HI775 Colorimetry-based measurement using LED Illuminant detects sample Absorbance at 610nm to accurately determine alkalinity values.
Applications
Aquaculture, aquariums, swimming pools, spas
Steps
1. Prepare samples and purchase Reagent HI775-26.
2. Use calibration group HI775-11 to calibrate.
3. Put the sample into the photometer for measurement.
4. Read and record the results.
Notice
• The instrument will automatically shut down after ten minutes of no operation, and pay attention to the operation interval when using it.
• Make sure to use the correct optional Reagent and Calibration Set to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Avoid use in high temperature environments to reduce potential Electron Stability effects.
