Overview
The HI764103 is a digital dissolved oxygen Probe with a built-in temperature sensor for passive measurement using current technology. The Probe has a built-in microchip that stores Sensor type, serial number and calibrated information including date, time and calibrated point, which can be automatically retrieved when inserted into the HI98199 Portable meter.
Features
1. Built-in microchip stores Sensor type, serial number and calibrated information
2. Support hot swap function, no need to re-calibrate
3. All dissolved oxygen measurements are performed within Probe and transmitted digitally
4. Adopt current technology, no Warm-Up Time
5. DO HDPE film with screw-in cover, easy to replace
6. DO Measured value can be automatically compensated according to temperature change
Principle
The Probe uses current technology for passive measurement, and the Probe spontaneously generates a voltage based on the concentration of dissolved oxygen. The dissolved oxygen passes through the membrane and reacts with the filling solution. Since the reaction is continuous, there is no need for a Warm-Up Time.
Applications
Wastewater, water, aquaculture, beverages
Steps
1. Insert Probe into HI98199 Portable Meter
2. Sensor information and calibrated data are automatically retrieved
3. Begin dissolved oxygen measurement
4. Replace the DO HDPE film cover when needed
Notice
• Probe uses current technology, no need for Warm-Up Time
• Support hot-swappable function, but make sure to connect correctly
• DO HDPE film cover is screw-in design, pay attention to the operation when replacing
• Measured value will automatically perform temperature compensation
