Overview
The HI76408 is a digitally dissolved Oxygen electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, designed with an ultra-thin Clark Polarographic Electrode for the measurement of dissolved Oxygen in aqueous solutions. Sensor type, serial number and calibrated information is stored on a microchip. The Electrode features a platinum cathode, silver/silver chloride anode, integrated temperature sensor and easily replaceable PTFE cover. It is designed for HANNA edge pH/EC/DO meters.
Features
1. Built-in microchip stores Sensor type, serial number and calibrated information, including date, time and calibrated point, supports hot swappable without recalibrating.
2. Ultra-thin 12mm body design for easy measurement in narrow containers such as testtubes and wine bottles.
3. The replaceable PTFE membrane cover features a screw-in design for quick and easy maintenance.
4. All dissolved oxygen measurements are performed within Electrode and transmitted digitally to the measurement instrument.
Principle
HI76408 uses Polarography measurement of dissolved oxygen in aqueous solution, temperature compensation through built-in temperature sensor to ensure measurement accuracy. Electrode internal microchip processes and stores calibrated data, and measurement results are transmitted to the meter as digital signals.
Applications
Aqueous solution dissolved oxygen measurement, narrow container measurement, testtube, wine bottle
Steps
1. Insert Electrode into the HANNA edge pH/EC/DO meter.
2. Automatically retrieve stored calibrated information.
3. Perform measurements in the target aqueous solution.
4. Replace the PTFE membrane cover if necessary.
Notice
• Operating ambient temperature range from 0 to 50 ° C (32 to 122 ° F).
• Make sure the Electrode connector type is a 3.5mm digital connector.
• Periodic inspection and replacement of PTFE membrane cover to maintain performance.
• Avoid use in environments beyond the specified range.
