Overview
The HI764073 is a dedicated dissolved Oxygen electrode with built-in temperature sensor from the HANNA brand, model HI764073. It is a spare Polarography dissolved Oxygen Probe that can be used in conjunction with the HI98193 Portable dissolved oxygen meter for laboratory and field applications. The Probe is made of durable ABS plastic with a protective cover to withstand most environments, fast calibrating, Measured value for temperature compensation, sensitive PTFE membrane can be replaced in seconds, making it ideal for field use.
Features
Polarography design, cathode shape, working ambient temperature range of 0 to 50 ° C (32 to 122 ° F).
2. Built-in integrated temperature sensor for temperature compensation measurement.
3. Compatible with HI76407A/P PTFE membrane cover, easy to replace and fill HI7041 electrolysis.
4. Conical design, suitable for BOD measurement, large holes in the protective cover allow for proper solution circulation, ensuring that the Sensor is exposed to fresh samples.
5. Durable ABS plastic material provides high durability, and the connector type is Quick Connect DIN.
Principle
HI764073 is a standard Clark-type Polarography dissolved oxygen Probe. Each PTFE membrane separates the Probe's platinum cathode and silver anode from the water sample under test. Oxygen passes through the membrane and interacts with the polarographic system to generate a current proportional to the oxygen concentration, enabling measurement of dissolved oxygen.
Applications
Laboratory, field application, BOD measurement
Steps
Connect the Probe to the HI98193 Portable dissolved oxygen meter.
2. Fill HI7041 electrolysis with HI76407A/P PTFE cap and screw onto Probe.
3. Calibrate to ensure quick completion.
4. Immerse the Probe in the water sample to ensure that the large holes in the protective cover allow the solution to circulate.
5. Measured value is read, and the system automatically performs temperature compensation.
Notice
• Ensure that the PTFE membrane is intact and nondestructive, check and replace it regularly.
• Verify Probe connections are correct before calibrating and measurement.
• Clean Probe after use to avoid contamination affecting accuracy.
• Only for the ambient temperature range from 0 to 50 ° C.
• When replacing the membrane cover, fill the electrolysis in strict accordance with the operation steps.
