Overview
HI96803 (Glucose) Brighton refractive analyzer is a professional instrument for measuring the Refractive index of liquid solution samples and converting it into the percentage of glucose mass (% W/W). The instrument is suitable for the detection of sugar content of various samples such as fruit, functional drinks, pudding, soy milk, juice, jam, honey, soup, jelly, tofu and seasoning.

Principle
The refractometer converts the measurement result into glucose mass percentage (% W/W) by measuring the Refractive index of the liquid solution. The instrument irradiates the sample with a yellow LED Illuminant, and calculates the sugar content by detecting the refraction of light rays in the sample.

Steps
1. A little calibrating with distillation or deionized water
2. Add 2 drops of sample to the sample chamber
3. Press the button to start measurement
4. Read the measurement result after about 1.5 seconds
Notice
• Ensure that the sample completely covers the prism surface
Periodically calibrate with distillation or deionized water
• Pay attention to the battery power and replace it in time when the power is low
• The instrument will automatically shut down without 3 minutes
• Keep the sample room clean to prevent corrosion
• Clean the stainless steel sample room in time after use
