Overview
The HI96804 (Invert Sugar) Brix Glucose Refractive Analyzer is a professional instrument for the measurement of the Refractive index of liquid solution samples and converted to% invert sugar content. The reading is expressed in mass percentage units (% W/W). The instrument is suitable for the detection of sugar content of fruits, functional drinks, puddings, soy milk, fruit juices, jams, and honey, soups, jellies, tofu, and seasonings.
Features
1. Dual LCD display, temperature reading displayed below the measurement value
2. ATC automatic temperature compensation function
3. BEPS low battery reminder to ensure accurate and effective reading
4. IP65 waterproof rating, suitable for laboratory and field measurement
5. Fast and accurate measurement, 1.5 seconds fast display measurement results
6. A little calibrated, with distillation or deionized water calibrated
7. Micro sample requirements, only 2 drops of sample are required
8. Automatic shutdown function, no automatic shutdown for three minutes
9. Stainless steel sample room, easy to clean and anti-corrosion
10. Easy to operate, just drop the sample button to read
11. ABS heat shrinkable plastic carrying case
Principle
The refractometer converts the liquid sample into the percentage of converted sugar by measuring its Refractive index. The instrument uses automatic temperature compensation technology to ensure the accuracy of measurement results under different temperature conditions.
Applications
Fruit, energy drink, pudding, soy milk, juice, jam, honey, soup, jelly, tofu, seasoning
Steps
1. Use distillation or deionized water to calibrate a little
2. Add 2 drops of sample to the sample chamber
3. Press the measurement button to read the result
4. Measured value automatically displayed in 1.5 seconds
Notice
Make sure the sample volume is at least 100 μL to fully cover the prism
• The instrument will automatically shut down without 3 minutes
• Regularly clean the Stainless Steel Sample Chamber and Glass Prisms
• Pay attention to the battery power and replace it in time when the power is low
• The calibrating must use distillation or deionized water
• Ensure that the sample temperature is within the range of 10-40 ° C for best compensation during measurement
