SZQ-160 25/50/75/100μm is a 4-sided film applicator made of zirconia ceramics, which is a manual laboratory Film Applicator. Principle
This product is a manual laboratory Film Applicator. By placing the paint on the substrate and scraping at a uniform speed using the edge of the Applicator's specific thickness, a uniform, precise and controllable wet-film layer is formed on the surface of the substrate. It can also be installed on a film machine for automated Spreader operation.
Applications
Test and study of wet-film sample preparation and coating performance of laboratory coatings, inks, Adhesive and other materials
Steps
1. Place the substrate (such as the test plate) to be Spreader on a flat and stable countertop.
2. Pour an appropriate amount of the paint to be tested onto one end of the substrate.
3. Hold the Applicator or install it on the film machine to make the edge contact with the substrate.
4. Scrape the Applicator smoothly from one end of the paint to the other at a uniform speed and appropriate pressure.
5. Lift the Applicator, and a layer of wet-film of the specified thickness is formed on the surface of the substrate.
