Overview
SZQ-160 100/150/200/300μm Film Applicator is a 4-sided film applicator made of zirconia ceramics. The film thickness is 100μm, 150μm, 200μm, 300μm, the application width is 160mm, and the total length is 190mm. The product is a manual laboratory film applicator, which can also be used with the Film Applicator to realize automatic Spreader. Before leaving the factory, it has been imported three-coordinate to detect the dimensional accuracy to ensure the accuracy of the film, and supports customization of different specifications.

Principle
The Film Applicator uses its ceramic drawdown blade edge of a specific thickness to scrape paint or stock on the flat surface of the substrate to form a uniform, precisely controllable wet-film. The 4-sided design provides four different fixed thickness options, and the user can select the corresponding side for Spreader.

Steps
1. Select the Applicator side corresponding to the desired wet film thickness.
2. Place the Applicator smoothly on one end of a clean and flat substrate (such as Glass plate, Tackle iron plate).
3. Pour a sufficient amount of paint or Stock in front of the Applicator.
4. At a uniform speed and appropriate pressure, scrape the Applicator forward along the surface of the substrate.
5. Lift the Applicator, leaving a wet-film of the specified thickness on the substrate.
6. If you need an automatic Spreader, you can install the Applicator on the supporting film machine.
Notice
• Make sure the substrate surface is clean, flat and drying before use.
• When scraping, keep the Applicator perpendicular to the substrate and complete it at a uniform speed at one time to avoid pauses in the middle.
• Applicator should be cleaned with suitable solvent in time after use to avoid coating curing residue.
